"A Kiss and a Prayer" is a story about personal relationships: about a marriage in difficulty, a man and a woman who want more out of life.

 

James' wife, Anne wants more intellectual stimulation in her life. She joins a church-sponsored house group and falls under the spell of a good-looking, American preacher, who has novel ideas.

 

In developing his landscaping business, James Breaston meets another woman who is seriously attracted to him.

 

"A Kiss and a Prayer" raises three key questions. 1) Who is a sinner?  2) Who is a Christian? and 3) is there now a need for a re-think  of these questions?  (Christian outreach is under the microscope. )
